Less Than Three Months

ThreeMonths– And Counting

Here it is, March 4, 2010, and we have less than three months until Blind Corps is off to Istanbul once again. Our Blind Corps team will be presenting Futures in Blindness 2010 from the end of May through the middle of June. We’ll be working with the teachers from the sixteen schools for the blind in Turkey. Those teachers along with others in need of our U.S.-developed rehabilitation methods and tools will be gathering at the Ciroz Camp near Ataturk International Airport. Our team will include Blind Corps Board Members Mike, Fatos, Nancy, Robert, and Buna. Returning for her second project in Turkey will be Ms. Kim Adams. Joining us for the first time will be Mr. George Binder. Kim and George both are among the most seasoned and expert teachers of blind children in the country. Shortly you will be able to read more about each of us on our individual pages.

We can still use your support in the form of financial contribbutions which you may make through our Paypal link:

We can always find uses for blindness related adaptive equipment, too. Even items such as functional netbooks can find homes with people in need with little in the way of resources.

Remember, Blind Corps is departing for Turkey May 25 and the clock is ticking for this project.

Thanks again to everyone who has been so generous. We can never express strongly enough our appreciation for all you’ve done.

Michael Floyd, President
Blind Corps
